Lufthansa Airbus A320 – D-AIPB

Oldie but Goldie

Discover the extraordinary Airbus A320 Aviation tag from the Lufthansa fleet with the “Papa Bravo”.

The D-AIPB was a real oldie and carried the very early MSN 70.

To put this into context: Airbus delivered the MSN 10,000 to the Middle East Airlines as early as 2020 and MSN 11,137 is currently at hand.

The D-AIPB was already delivered to the Star Alliance member in October 1989 – and thus before the reunification of Germany – and was christened “Heidelberg”.

The Airbus A320-211 was not decommissioned until 2019, after more than 30 years of service, and finally sold in Oostende in 2020.

Now the “Papa Bravo” lives on as an Aviationtag Edition and continues the long history of the successful Airbus A320 project.
